2014 The Year of the Braid

As another amazing and incredible year comes to an end their is no doubt that this truly was the year of the braid.

Braided brides dominated wedding isles everywhere and  with the likes of celebrity idols fashioning this old school hair do who could blame them.  Aside from Vintage wedding hair I have never seen such a versatile style.  The great thing about braids is that they can be styled in different ways, such as the scruffy pulled apart braid, the school girl braid, the up do, beach braid, waterfall and the wavy braid. With so many options a bride can look relaxed and boho or elegant and classy.

With so many options Hollywood Brides hair stylists were able to get the creative juices flowing along with these epic waterfall braids.

Brides take a lot of inspiration from actresses, celebrities and runway shows, this year it looked like our brides were walking straight off the runway.

Braided detailing is a great way of giving your wedding hair further detail and texture, without taking attention away from your wedding dress.

With the Queensland Spring/Summer weather typically hot, humid and unpredictable a braided ‘do is ideal for outdoor weddings, and outdoor photos.  These styles keep some or all of your hair up which means you will stay cool without sacrificing style.
